To say we had fun this past weekend would be a total understatement when it comes to Nic and Micaela's Engagement Session in Horton Creek and up on the Mongolian Rim! Walking and adventuring the trail and getting a lesson all about where we were going and fun facts about the area from Nic was just one of the many highlights of the day. I have come to realize that when my engagement session involves me wearing my Tevas, it is going to be amazing and full of adventure and involve me getting in a river more times than not! I will get in a stream, river, lake, whatever it takes to make sure you have that amazing shot to remember your amazing day by! While the river was a little chilly, I didn't mind one bit as it was SO worth it to get the shots we got from our day. Nic and Micaela even ended up dipping their toes in and shared in the adventure that was their engagement session. Now don't even get me started on those fall leaves and yellowing aspens that we just happen to drive by that we actually ended up passing and going back for, because come on how could you not! We spend some time just soaking in all that the aspens had to offer and then headed down the road to our sunset location. The spot we ended on was actually the spot that Nic and Micaela went on for their first date and it was the most perfect way to end their session watching the sunset and reflecting on their love and all that lead to that moment, holding each other and loving on each other as the sun dipped behind the mountains and the most amazing light was given to us that spread over the valley. I had such a great time on our Payson Engagement Adventure and I cannot wait for your wedding and I am so ready to get back up there to be surrounded by your family and friends and be a part of your amazing day!
